Which chop is fair?
ICM chop — what each stack is worth if everyone keeps playing equally well. Short stacks get a little more than their chips, the chip leader a little less, because the leader can’t win more than 1st.
Chip chop — everyone is paid the smallest prize left, and the rest is split by chips. Simpler, and better for the chip leader.
